Ryu's gap moe is *chef's kiss*
NGL. That start was a little off putting. But it got better with the slaughter of Evilus. Still though. Why so brutal with the depiction of the girls dying and not Evilus? Ryuu X Bell. True friends. True loyalty. They will make excellent lovers.
As others said, this was meant to be a traumatic moment for Ryuu, they wanted you to feel the pain aswell that Ryuu encountered. Best type of story telling tbh
No. That wasn't stated. But a fair point.
Exactly, I don't get how Vii didn't comprehend why they did that to begin with, I thought it was clear as glass why they showed what they did smh. I guess some people are slower than others and need more information to conclude what we all already knew aha.
Some people just have to be pricks for no reason
Unfortunately, that’s what was described in the Light Novel, gruesome details of the Astrea Familia members’ death and not much detail on the Evilus’s downfall.
It was Lion's PoV and her own memories that made her seek revenge for her closest familia dying.
That's why it was described like that.
There's no problem here,it's realistic scene directing.
Exactly, idk how people don't understand such a crystal clear point as that smh. I guess some people are just mentally slow and need everything pointed out to them aha.
You're either doing an excellent impression of an insufferable c*nt or...
And this doesn't change facts that was stated.
It most definitely does, but what "facts" was stated because you didn't have any?? It was crystal clear why they showed what they did, it was pretty obvious to most of us but I guess you're a little slower in that department lol. They obviously wanted us to FEEL what she felt, see what she saw, from a 1st & 3rd person pov. It isn't that hard to understand really, they're manipulating the audiences emotions.
So now you understand the reason why she was so angry, how she got to the point she was in currently, her mentality, her whole reason for living at that point, why her revenge consumed her and was so mercilessly brutal. She was completely broken and emotionally and mentally traumatized, seeing her familia die that way is beyond devastating and would make many individuals suicidal and do irrational dangerous acts they normally wouldn't. Now we know why she's feared and called by that name, how she ended up in that predicament, why she put herself physically in jeopardy, risking her life and also freedom/livelihood and throwing away close friendships to finish off the rest of the evilus survivors. It'd take something like that to make her mentally snap and risk it all to go on a slaughter/killing spree.
Why does trash always reply to me? Like go throw yourself in a bin, cause that's where you belong. Seriously. Things like you should mind their own business. Did I solicit your idiocy? It was already pointed out to me. Trash. And If you actually learned to read other people's comments you'd have a firm grasp on what they were talking about.
You are scum, i bet you would not talk like that irl if that guy was in your face !
Such a tough kb warrior you are, oh my !
But Memoria Freese's telling of events is canon, right? couldn't they have pulled from that?
Hey, can you tell me what part is this in the ln?
Because this is real gritty truth of adventuring. It's not all flowers and sunshine
Wait fr? Well can't wait to see that happen( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I mean, sorry fer spoilers. But it's pretty brutal. XD Great story telling. However, I wish they'd have eased into it. XD Not expecting that right after waking up and getting it going.
Well no need to be sorry. I'm all in for spoilers like this( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Spoiler: Giggity.
The writing of the whole Astraea Familia as it's depicted in the anime could have used a lot of work, that's why it's so off putting. The best gem is provided in this episode:
"Damn you Astraea bitches"
and literally seconds later.
"In case you forgot, we're the Astraea Familia."
In an anime where the writing is usually well and consistent, it was surprising to see how terrible it was for the Astraea Familia flashbacks as a whole. I liked them, yeah, but I'd be lying if I said I felt attached to them if we were to go by exposure to the anime alone.
I'm so tired of this arc. I don't know what the Author is trying to prove with this brutal slog of misery. I don't even watch the episodes in whole anymore I skip ahead every time it looks hopeless in hopes that it's finally going to be the point where it's over. It's a Trashy OP MC Harem vehicle and it's like the author challenged himself to write an entire arc as though it were The Revenant.
Dafuq were you expecting from an anime with the title, "Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon?" This was never going to be the grammy award winning story you're looking for. Go watch superbook if you want wholesome crap.
Exactly like make it make sense…
Then stop watching and f4ck off. why are u still torturing yourself here?
See, the point of a forum is to share opinions, observations and ideas. And when people acting in good faith see a variety of opinions it allows for them to interact with those subjects critically.
For instance I left a very similar comment on another episode of this and I got a response from a guy informing me that he originally read the Light Novel and he said that every page he read left him feeling out of breath due to the constant building dread and anxiety as their plight just never relented and became more desperate at every turn. He called it his favourite arc in the series because of that.
And he feels that the problem this season of the anime has had is that they, for whatever reason, didn't capture the dread and or breathlessness he felt whilst reading it.
He feels this season's poor showing is the result of a bad adaptation.
Which was a great response and just what you'd hope for from a forum and people acting in good faith.
In the spring?? Wouldn't he drown??
I mean, prop his head up on the ground obviously, Never had sex in the water before? Kinda missing out aren't ya?
Lol spoken by someone who obviously hasn't themselves. Going to go out on a limb and say you haven't ever had sex. Anyone that has would know 1) Water is not a good lubricant. It gets rid of all the natural lube produced by the body. 2) The suction caused by sex under water can be uncomfortable as hell. 3) In a river? Do you have any idea how unsanitary that is? People get UTIs from hot tubs and pools full of chlorine, do you have any idea how much bacteria and shit are in natural rivers?
Sex in the Spirit-Worlds is much better anyway.
And, rivers can still have «slimy» (and thus slippery) water...
...also, a world where characters have innate magic-abilities, they should also necessarily have innate body-strengthening magic that protects their organs & stuff & keeps them from getting sick from the things that the humans of earth might get sick from... especially given how much more highly athletic they are in comparison to our world full of sedentary life-styles.
lol in an anime sure. But the original comment who has now deleted their comments/account was talking about or at least trying to talk about real life to sound all cool. I just had to shut that shit down.
Plot-Twist : Also applies to what we call that real-life-world. And making the water all soapy (and thus slippery) can help solve a number of mentioned problems (not to mention simultaneously getting the bodies washed).
And the OC still looks to be intact. Someone else further down the thread seems to have deleted their comment/account though. I had that happen before when I called out someone on their flawed & arrogant logic that, just because they have a college-degree, they thought themselves to be so smart & intelligent, even though I could back up everything I mentioned from the professors/scientists/researchers/et-cetera from Harvard, and, Stanford, and, Yale, I mean, gee, for someone who places so much value on a college-degree, they sure seemed insistent on claiming that there are a lot of pseudo-scientists & pseudo-intellectuals coming out of YALE, and, STANFORD, and, HARVARD... amongst various other things I predicted as to how he would respond before he even responded (liberal-materialists are extremely predictable after all since they all behave the exact same way; kind of hard not to predict when the last several dozens of them behaved in the exact same or extremely similar cult-style manner).
Whilst I agree with every point u brought up, it is anime hahah. U don’t rly need to worry abt things like that in fiction.
lol same person 2 accounts? Or just copy pasta now?
O shit I thought I deleted the old one fml
I logged in on an account I didn’t know existed 😅 was hoping no one would notice lol
Yes in anime, but the original post I was replying to was not talking about in the anime world. They were trying to sound all cool and edgy about real life. Sadly they've deleted all their comments/account now.
I see tho, valid
also * lap mode is on *
Bell just flexing his harem MC skills. xD
Lmao fr
Lol i thought that Ryu would cringe feeding water through her mouth to Bell's.
*Jojo menacingly : YES, YES YES .... *
yeah kinda thought she was gonna do that as well but actually glad that didn't happen... Because Bell was still conscious and Ryu kissing someone, even if it's Bell to give him water, doesn't fit her character... also trying to kiss someone who is passed out and have them drink something is actually extremely difficult and there is a higher chance of you causing them to choke... your best best would be splashing them with water, to wake them up... then you can help them drink.
There was a reason why i wrote "cringe feeding" in the sentence lmao.
I think to her it's to much like a kiss, in which I bet she's never done before.
Her self sacrifice was extremely dumb, but at least she's cute
Can't get enough of her blushing face.
